Christmas Eve Night

Christmas Eve night, we had a good night. We had a lovely dinner at I.'s and then opened all of the presents at around 10:30pm. Usually they open them all up at 12am but we decided to do it early because everyone had plans the next morning and the kids needed to get to bed. It was nice to see everyone's faces and I loved N.'s face the whole time. M. was asleep but I don't think she missed too much. We tried to read the scriptures and have a discussion about different subjects but it was kind of challenging with the kids because they were bored! Next year we know to center it around the kids understanding and involve them. It was fun this year being with family and truly remembering what the season was all about.
