The beginning of our Vacation

So we left at the crack of dawn on Sunday morning and we both got about 2 hours of sleep before the alarm went off to get to the airport. It was quite the morning and an interesting day before we left. Victor got home around 1 and then we still had to unpack him and repack and we were all tired and he and Nathaniel took about a 4 hour nap. It was great for me. Then we needed to go each dinner and then we went to a friends little boy's 1st birthday that night and we even left early because we knew that we would need to get up early. There is just way too much to do before you leave. Our flight left at 6am and we needed to be out the door no later than 3:30. We left at 3:45 which is amazing with a little boy and we got to the airport at 4:30, hit the bus and checked in the luggage. It was all amazingly quick and we were worried we were going to be late. Nathaniel was great on that first flight because he just slept the whole way there. I was sitting next to a guy who slept the whole way there with his mouth open and his breath was so terrible it made me sick. Then we stopped in Minneapolis and had only enough time to get to the other flight before they started boarding. Nathaniel was a little crazy on the plane. He pretty much walked the aisles most of the time and playing with cars all over the place. Victor and I were so tired that it was hard to have patience for him. But we made it there and 15 minutes before we landed, of course, he fell asleep. Silly child. My mom picked us up from the airport and she has a built in carseat to her car which was nice and dropped us off at my mother-in-laws. Then we all got together for dinner, Victor's family and my family. It was great to be all together. Yesterday we went to the beach and had a blast. The water felt like I was in a tub and then the further you go out there was a cold current that had fish in it. Nathaniel loved the water and even wanted to be by himself. That's a little scary for him to be that comfortable. Then we went to see the movie "The Proposal". It was so funny and we laughed all the way through. Today we asked Victor's mom if she could watch Nathaniel so we could do a little get away in Orlando with Victor's points so I am writting while he is sleeping. Some getaway my little sleeping beauty is. But its been so nice to just be together and have some great views. Now I think I will wake him up so that we can get the ball rolling on our romantic event. I will definately be posting pictures and blogging about the rest of my week!
