Our 22 Month Son

Our little growing boy is now 22 months old. It is so sad and amazing at how the time flies. His birthday is in two months and I am shocked that it has been almost two years since this little man joined our lives. Here are some new things he does:

1. He calls me mami now or in english it's mommy
2. He can say "amo" which means love, we try to get him to say "te amo" which means I love you but it only comes out as amo.
3. In English he will count coherently up to 5 and incoherently up to 10.
4. In Spanish he can count up to 5
5. He now understands that there is a baby in my belly and will point to it and say "baby" and then point to him and say "cute big boy". He is so silly.
6. He swam in the ocean for the first time
7. He was able to visit both grandma's and loved it
8. He loves to sing
9. He tries really hard to talk and have a conversation and will grab your face to talk to you
10. He says so many things now its hard to keep a list anymore
11. He loves to sing and do the actions for: Popcorn Popping on the Apricot Tree, I'm a little tea pot, Los pojitos disen, the itsey bitsey spider, the snowman song, ring around the rosie, and the wheel's on the bus.
12. He has been the sickest ever this month and he has had the most catastrophies. I am curious as to what the other months will bring.
    

We enjoy having such a spunky little kid in our lives and its such a blessing and a joy to see him grow. Now that he is more active I need to start doing more activities with him and get more involved in the toddler experiences. Any great suggestions?
